Мақолада БМТнинг аёллар ҳуқуқларини халқаро ҳуқуқий ҳимоя қилишдаги ўрни ёритилиб, CСW ва CЕДАW қўмиталарининг институционал вазифалари ва таъсир механизмлари таҳлил қилинган. Гендерга оид халқаро нормаларнинг шаклланиши ва ривожланиш жараёни кўрсатиб берилган. Хулоса сифатида БМТ органларининг аёллар ҳуқуқларини илгари суришдаги аҳамияти асослаб берилган.

Abstract

The article examines the role of the United Nations in the international legal protection of women's rights. It analyzes the institutional functions and impact mechanisms of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) and the CEDAW Committee. The process of formation and development of international gender norms is presented. The conclusion substantiates the importance of UN bodies in advancing women's rights.
